Goddess Dasama also spelled Dashama or Dasha Maa is a highly revered regional deity in Gujarat and parts of Rajasthan. She is widely known as the "Goddess of Circumstances" or "Goddess of Fate," believed to have the power to change a person's dasha (condition or life situation) from bad to good.

​Significance: It is believed that the king of Gujarat once insulted a poor woman worshipping the goddess; Dashama then withdrew her blessings from the kingdom until the king repented and observed her fast.
